Over two decades of reinventing yachting.

2002

Francis Lapp sets out to find his ideal luxury catamaran. When nothing lives up to his vision, he decides to build it himself.

2003

The first Sunreef 74 launches at the historic Gdańsk Shipyard: a groundbreaking luxury sailing catamaran with a flybridge that marks a new chapter in yacht design.

2008

Developed with renowned sailor Laurent Bourgnon, the 70 Sunreef Power introduces a new vision of the power catamaran with trans-Pacific range and an innovative double-deck superstructure.

2010

Two super-catamarans launch — the double-deck Sunreef 102 Ipharra and the Sunreef 114 CHE, the world’s biggest sloop-rigged catamaran at the time.

2013

World’s first carbon catamaran-superyacht — the Sunreef 80 Carbon Line Levante. Francis Lapp is named Entrepreneur of the Year at the World Yachts Trophies in Cannes.

2014

World’s first catamaran superyacht with a folding mast — engineered in-house to fold forward to 90°.

2016

The Sunreef Supreme 68 launches — 300 m² of living space, floor-to-ceiling glazing in the main saloon, and an aft garage for tender, jet-skis and diving gear.

2017

88-foot double-deck sailing catamaran launches with expansive living spaces and a forward master suite with ocean views.

2018

New Beginning emerges: a new range defined by classically inspired design and vast, light-filled interiors.

2019

Two electric Sunreefs launch: the 50 Eco and 60 Eco. The first 80 Sunreef Power follows: a bold, seaworthy motor yacht with vast living spaces and a jet-ski garage.

2020

Great White delivered to Rafael Nadal. Shipyard of the Year at the World Yachts Trophies. Nico Rosberg joins as Sunreef Eco ambassador.

2021

A new Gdańsk site opens with Europe’s largest CNC machine. First 100 Sunreef Power launches. Fernando Alonso joins the House of Sunreef with a bespoke electric 60 Sunreef Power.

2022

The Sunreef 80 Eco launches — the industry’s most advanced green yacht, with solar cells integrated into hull, superstructure, bimini and mast. The Explorer Line begins.

2023

Sunreef expands into the UAE, opening a new office and manufacturing facility.

2024

The first Ultima 55 launches — the debut of a bold new generation of luxury power catamarans, marking a new era of sleek, dynamic design for Sunreef.

2026

The first Ultima 88 launches: a bold expression of the Ultima range, combining progressive design, a dynamic silhouette and high performance.

2026

The first BRABUS ULTIMA 55 launches, born from the collaboration between Sunreef and BRABUS Marine.
